YoCare+ Privacy Policy

Shenzhen Manba Intelligent Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") provides the YoCare+ App (the "App"). This App is used by caregivers and installation/maintenance staff at elderly care institutions for the purposes of viewing residents' health data and configuring network connections for smart devices, respectively.

All accounts are created and managed by the institutional administrator via the YoCare+ Service Platform PC terminal. By using this App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

1.1 Account Information

- You log in using an account assigned by the institutional administrator. We collect: account name, nickname, affiliated institution, and role (caregiver / installation/maintenance staff).

- Purpose: Identity verification to ensure you can only access authorized content.

1.2 Network Configuration Information (Installation/Maintenance Staff Only)

- When installation/maintenance staff configure the network for devices, the App needs to access your device's location permission (required for Wi-Fi scanning on Android) and read the Wi-Fi name and password you input.

- Purpose: To send the Wi-Fi information to the device for network configuration. The Wi-Fi password is used solely for this configuration and is not stored on our servers.

1.3 Residents' Health Data (Caregivers Only)

- Device binding and resident information entry are completed by the institutional administrator via the PC terminal. This App does not perform any binding operations.

- Caregivers can only view authorized residents' data in this App, including: heart rate, respiratory rate, body movement, and in-bed status.

- Purpose: To assist with daily care work.

1.4 Push Notifications

- Uses Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) official push notification services to send alerts to caregivers (e.g., bed-exit reminders).

- No third-party push SDKs are integrated.

 

2. Permission Descriptions

The App requires the following permissions for specific functions. You may manage these permissions at any time via your device's system settings.

- Location Permission: Required for installation/maintenance staff to scan the Wi-Fi list during network configuration. This permission is used only during the configuration process and does not collect GPS location data.

- Notification Permission: Required for caregivers to receive real-time alert notifications regarding residents (e.g., bed-exit reminders).

- Camera Permission: Required for installation/maintenance staff to scan device QR codes to assist with network configuration.

 

3. Data Retention Period

- Health Data Retention: Residents' health data is retained until the resident or their guardian requests deletion from the elderly care institution. After the institutional administrator confirms and performs the deletion via the PC terminal, the data will be permanently deleted from the server within 24 hours.

- Log Retention: App operation logs are automatically cleared after 90 days.

- Local Cache: Deleted upon uninstalling the App.

4. Account and Data Deletion

This App does not provide account registration, logout, or data deletion functions.

- Caregiver / Installation/Maintenance Staff Accounts: To delete an account, please contact the institutional administrator, who will perform the deletion via the PC terminal.

- Residents' Health Data: To delete data, the resident or their guardian must submit a request to the elderly care institution. After confirmation, the institutional administrator will perform the deletion via the PC terminal. The data will be permanently cleared from the server within 24 hours.

5. Medical Disclaimer

The health data displayed in this App is for daily care reference only and does not constitute medical diagnosis. If a resident feels unwell, please seek medical attention promptly.
